The six temples in Tamil Nadu sacred to Murugan: Thiruparankundram, Tiruchendur, Palani, Swamimalai, Tiruttani and Pazhamudircholai.
How to do it
Madurai is the base for Thiruparankundram and Pazhamudircholai, and Palani is three hours away. Tiruchendur is on the coast south of Madurai. Swamimalai is near Kumbakonam, and Tiruttani is near Chennai and Tirupati. Allow five to six days.
